Fantasian Kingdoms: Round 13

Round 13 have just begun and something went wrong almost immediately; Tstealth assaulted my province almost as soon as we came out of newbie mode. Then, I thought we had a truce with the nation of judement-something that is why I have not attack them, but Mr. Beo suicide on my province. Phooey!

Mr. Beo managed to do that by upgrading their alpha units which they have been stockpiling for some time now. I on the other hand can’t do that for several reasons I would rather not mention here.

Anyway, the hopes of me stockpiling alphas and upgrading them are out of the question now. I have to build lots of defense units so that this big guys in judgement-something won’t just steamroll me for their leisure. Alpha units have little defense right now and I will be vulnerable from attacks if I build them in mass.

Hope I don’t get steamrolled anymore. :(

Sorry, I miss the flash round. It was too fast! Really fast! 1 minute per tick is just too fast and not everyone has the time to sit the whole day through just to play it from start to finish. Sorry Mr. Beo. I’ll try to play next time.

Note: I managed to register and even play a few minutes of the flash round. But a few minutes after I came out of newbie (I was already in a blitz war with one province in a nation that has the two other members. There were 4 active players me and that three member nation. Hee hee!) I was invited by my friends to go out on a gimmick with them. That is when I decided to stop playing and go out with them. After packing my things in my bag, I remembered that I forgot to delete my account. When I checked it, I read a news that I was attack by my rival for that round (don’t know her name.) I did a nasty thing and attack her first before deleting. Hee hee! Whose bad? >D

Not Much Action

The round is about to end but there is not much action for me. This always seems to happen when I am using a Pop strat in FK. I have use pop strategy before and I always ended up not so active. Well, it would be boring if I always use the same strategy right?

There is something that might interest you readers. There is talk about two rounds of Flash Rounds. What are Flash Rounds? It is a round where every second is a tick. Hee hee! Think about it. If you attack someone, your last general would be home in less than a quarter of a minute! ~_~ Sounds interesting? Then better come back here and read more for updates.

Something funny just happened. I have been anticipating the start of this round and me coming out of newbie status so I could attack. That is why I was surprise to suddenly find out that I was out of newbie mode. Hee hee!

I was just checking up on my province when I realized that the announcement that I am still in newbie mode is gone. I was out of newbie mode and did not know about it. Oh phooey!

I had some problem believing it that when I push the attack button to attack someone, I haft expected a message saying I can’t attack while I was in newbie mode. ~_~ Anyway, my attack succeeded.

Attacked!?

I almost forgot to mention it. Before we all chatted together, Ms. Julie assaulted me. Oh no!

Earlier on, when I noticed that our military units have low military attributes, I decided to build tons of military units to make up for their low attributes. But before Ms. Julie’s attack; I was upgrading the military housing therefore neglecting to build more military units, hence I have a low defense. This resulted to her successfully assaulting me. I would have been able to assault her back if not for the fact that she has some of Mr. Beowulf’d military units as encamptments.
Oh phooey! :(

So, as for now, I have slowed down my land growth rate and concentrated on building my military units. Hopefully this would prevent future successful assault against me.

John passed the presidency of the nation of Syndicate to me. But not before he changed the military units again. But again, he did not raise their attributes. What’s wrong John? Why didn’t you raise them? Now, I can’t change their attributes until 7 days from now, which means I am stuck with weak military units. :( I am a little worried that I might get assaulted again. John is constantly attacked every time he attacks because, as I have said before, his military units can’t defend his province. Oh dear! What am I going to do?

I don’t want to end this post will woe and suffering, so I am going to leave a happy note. I now have premium account! Yay! Premium! Premium! Premium! Premium!

It’s great! I am now enjoying a lot of benefits from my new PREMIUM ACCOUNT! As in PREMIUM ACCOUNT! Now if I could only fix that problem with the nation’s military units then I am sure I will win this round. Hee hee! ^_^

FK IMS Feature: The Chatroom

Fantasian Kingdom has its own chat room where players can come and have a chat with other players. This is a nice feature so players can go around getting to know each other.

Me, Ms. Jewlye, Mr. Beowulf, and Mr. Gix had a nice long chat last night. They were all funny, friendly, and nice.

It started when Mr. Gix and me were chatting about how to “hack” Fantasian Kingdom. ~_~ When suddenly Mr. Beowulf entered the chat room and ask what we are talking about. I was of course calm and collected and said nothing important and that we were just talking about what educational course I should take next year. Mr. Gix supported me, thought he seems a little bit nervous. Mr. Beowulf enthusiastically joined in. He and Mr. Gix even had a brief debate whether it is alright or if it is improper to use the word “won’t” in a sentence.

Later, Ms. Jewlye came and joined us and she also chat with gusto. All the while Mr. Gix and I were hoping that Mr. Beowulf did not get a sniff of our plan. Hee hee! ~_^ Don’t tell him ok!?

Hi everyone! Sorry I wasn’t able to post earlier because my brothers were using MY computer and they won’t let me use it for more than a few minutes. That is why I have not been able to post anything until now. I could not even complain to my parents because they would just say that it is for their work and my parents would be on their side. Fantasian Kingdom: Speed Round 5.

The new round has already started in this great game Fantasian Kingdom. This round is a speed round, meaning every tick is equal to haft an hour, instead of the usual an hour a tick, which means it’s two times faster than an ordinary round.

Mr. Beowulf added some new features to the game like entertainers, and he also added some pictures in the game; giving it a nice look.

Overall, FK is a great game with a nice layout and appearance, along with a good mechanic. It is so fun and entertaining that you would expect people to flock this site and play it. But that is not so.

Although Mr. Beowulf paid for some advertisement for this round, and even though there were many people that signed up for the game, only few are actively playing.

Anyway, active or not, I’m having fun with this game. I grab some lands left and right early in the round; singing all the way, hee hee! This put me in the top 4 quickly. I would have been in the top spot if my people had not revolted 3 times! One lasting for more than 9 hours! Since I am using a pop strategy, and there are no taxes while your people are revolting, I was in a very sad state. Phooey! Penniless, with no food or oil reserved, and some military units disbanding; I was in despair those few hours. Fortunately, robbing inactive planets sustained me through the entire ordeal.

Somehow, I have recovered from that economic plunged and is back on track again. But some of the planets grew very big and will be difficult to catch up. Like speedy Gonzales here. His planet is twice the size of my planet! Bah! I need to think of a plan to grow bigger then him. Let you know more tomorrow. Bye! ~_~

Hi everyone! I’m back! Hee hee! But I’m not going to post anything new until the next round start. That is because there is nothing to talk about right now. Although I am playing this round; I’m only playing to acquaint myself with the new features of this game. So stay tune! The new round is just around the corner.

Vacation

I really have the nicest friends. They ask me to spend the Lenten season with them and go to Boracay beach. I declined because I want to finish the specialty round of FK. I told them they should go ahead without me.

Guess what? They did not go. They were willing to wait for me until I finish the round so we could all go together. Awesome! Now, were considering on going to either a friend’s summer house in Tagaytay or go to a private beach resort owned by the parents of one of my friends. We are still planning on the exact time but I doubt I would be able to finish a normal FK round of two months, so I won’t even try.

End of Special Round 2

Fantasian Kingdom Special Round 2 has finally ended and it ended with a big bang! There are so many things that have happened so I will try to tell it all in this one post.

First about Phyrexian Snowcrusher, John’s province, was made a kill target by Mr. Beowulf and received a barrage of nuclear missiles. The attack was not unexpected since somebody in the public forum has already hinted about the attack coming.

John’s province was too big for them to assault, so they have to be satisfied with launching nuclear missiles against him. Their alliance (Bodacious body) declared war against our alliance (Deathproof) first before they launch most of the missiles. Unlike in galaxies ablaze, where some missiles can take out military units, nuclear missiles in Fantasian kingdom can only take out some land, a lot of population, and resources. This means that if a target has enough space for his soldiers after those missiles hit; Mr. John’s military units won’t disband and he would have been ready to retaliate. But whether any of Mr. John’s units disbanded or not, he lost a lot of Networth value, making him fall from the top spot to around 3-5th place.

I was just finishing updating my GA account at that time when I first login to my FK account. I was worried for Mr. John and decided to help him. It was an earlier part of the hour, meaning 1-15 minutes past the last hour, so I decided to delay my attack and wait bit. I was taking advantage of my province’s fast return time and the game’s hourly tick.

What do I mean? My province, shattered lands, has a fast return time. Example, instead of a full 14 tick return time, it would be 7-12 hours return time. Also, if I had attack at 9:01 am, I would have to wait 1 hour and 59 minutes for the first general to return. If I attack on 9:59 am, I would only have to wait about 1 hour and 1 minute. That means my military will arrive faster bolstering my defenses sooner.

I decided to continue updating my GA account while waiting for my attack time since I know it won’t take long to update it (I’m using the turtle strategy this round, so it did not took long to update my planet). Before I was finish, I received a message from Mr. John to help him to counter attack those who missile him. I messaged him back that I will, after I finish updating my GA account. It did not take long for me to receive a reply asking if I will help after he receives a few more missiles. Cute boy. :D

I decided not to make Mr. John wait and attack the first planet after the war was declared. I spied then assaulted Mr. Beowulf. It must be noted that Mr. Beowulf was not the first province to attack Mr. John with missiles. But I did not notice that since I was looking for attackers AFTER the war was declared.

I message Mr. John that I already attack and waited for whatever retaliation Mr. Beowulf would bring. Again I received a message from Mr. John asking if I would change the nation’s initiative; from economics initiative to the offensive initiative. I told him that I don’t touch the initiative and I just follow what Mr. Selur would choose for the nation’s initiative since it was Mr. Selur’s nation. Mr. John replied back that he does not care what Mr. Selur thinks and I should hurry changing the nation’s initiative. Sighing and hoping Mr. Selur won’t mind, I changed the initiative. Later, Mr. John assaulted an enemy province.

A few minutes later, my brother Jess, ask me if he could use the computer for a moment and chat with someone for a few minutes. I said okay and went to the kitchen to drink a glass of milk. When I returned; my brother was finish and I took the seat in front of the computer again.

I was surprise to find out that Mr. John was kick out of our nation. I message Mr. John what happened and he message me back that Mr. Selur kick him out and he sent a copy of the message he sent to Mr. Selur.

I read the message and understood a little as to why Mr. Selur kick him out. There was some bad words in that message. But then I understood Mr. John too. He was understandably upset about being missile and was hoping for support and yet felt betrayed. Mr. John messaged me that he can’t enter the nation anymore and that the password was changed. He later deleted his province.

Mr. Beowulf later announced that they would be surrender and they only declared war to attack Mr. John.

Later, as I continued attacking provinces that sent their generals out, I received a message from Mr. Beowulf warning me about my attacks against him. I must have hit his province a little too much. I decided to leave him alone for a while, maybe give him about a day or two before I attack him again. =D But I was surprise that he sneak attack me a few hours later. I countered and grab more land from him then he grab from me. He and Ms. Jewley then launch some nuclear missiles against me, and fortunately, I manage to block all their attacks. I thought to myself, they are just letting off some steam, since I grab a lot of lands from them those past few days and let them go at that.

A few days later Mr. Beowulf suicide on Iced Beer and then Ms. Jewley launch a suicide attack against Iced Beer. This made Iced Beer to delete his province. I managed to make Ms. Jewley pay for her suicide, and she paid dearly, by assaulting her 4x. 8 hours later, Mr. Beowulf sneak attack (suicide) me, with three of my generals at home and the last one coming home at the next hour. Mr. Beowulf paid dearly too! Hee hee!

By this time, they must have realized that they can’t sneak attack me, especially with my province’s fast return time and with my 54% offensive bonus. So they content themselves with launching missiles against me. But thanks to Mr. Schoochi2 I manage to block all but 4 or 5 nuclear missiles.

Then the Fantasian Kingdoms Specialty Round 2 ended. Guess what? I WIN! Although it is not recorded as a natural round, it is still in the personal archive and special round archive. Hurray! ^_^

Mr. Meldrew’s Complaint

Mr. Meldrew complained about my attack against him, 10 minutes after he got out of newbie mode, and with my land size twice bigger then his. He said something about how I only attack provinces a lot smaller then me.

First, I do attack provinces above the 60% size limit. I attack Ms. Jewlye’s province in a suicide attack. A pretty risky shot that could have reduce my province haft the size it was.

Earlier that morning, I spied on Ms. Jewlye province and Mr. Beowulf, and found out that Mr. Beowulf’s generals are all out. Each one of those generals won’t be back for the next +10 hours. But his province was too strong to assault.

Ms. Jewlye’s province was different. I could have assaulted her but it would mean sending haft of my military units to successfully assault her. I decided against it because I would be open for retaliation from Mr. Sarge and from Ms. Jewlye’s himself (Ms. Jewlye has only 1 general out and would be returning in the next 2-3 hours).

Ms. Jewlye must have message Mr. Beo and he sent me a warning.

After that, I decided to log-out and eat my breakfast. A couple of hours later, I login and look for a target. I spied on Ms. Jewlye’s province and found out that she sent her generals out. I also know that Mr. Sarge sent his generals out.

With everyone that could possibly retaliate on my attack, has all their generals out, this means that I could take a risky shot. Thanks to Mr. Priest urging, finding a target wasn’t too hard, so I took a shot.

For the next 1 or 2 hours after my attack, I had only forty-two thousand (42000) grunts for defense. I can’t exactly remember our networth at that time, but I remember that I was only less than a million bigger then her. She has more than 100k units at her disposal and the other bigger guys have more than that against my 42k defense. Risky right? Mr. Priest sent 34-39k grunt encampments to add to my defense but they did not take effect immediately. Fortunately I was able to get away with it. Thank you!

True to his word Mr. Beowulf did indeed retaliated my attack.

Regrettably for Mr. Beowulf, three of the four of my generals were already home, and the fourth one will return in the next tick. That means I had a good defense when he attack, and will be able to retaliate on the next tick. So the next tick.

Hurray! That was the biggest successful assault so far this round and I got safely away with it. Cool huh? At the time of my attack, Mr. Beowulf’s province was way bigger then me. Too bad for him that he sent too many military units out and let someone with over +40% attack bonus know about it. ^_^

Going back to the original subject, I do not only attack small provinces that just came out of newbie. I do attack big provinces. The only problem is I can’t keep doing it with consistency and not expect grave consequences. And I need more lands, lots of it, but I can’t explore to get it.

That is why when two provinces came out of newbie mode. I did not hesitate to attack both of them twice.

With the current Special Mod and my latest attacks; I had no better option. This round was designed so that players have no choice but to attack other provinces or be attack.

I have gone against the odds playing FK and I’m still here. I have gone toe to toe with Mr. Priest (See how many times we assaulted each other in less then two days in speed round). I have stand and fought against Mr. Selur and his brother when they were bigger then me (over twice my size when it first happened) and no one, not a single one of my team mates help me (they care for their networth or too afraid to help); fought even after they bash my province to a pulp and still fought on. All of this happened in a normal or speed round where everyone can explore. So for Mr. Meldrew to complain about being bash in a special round where exploration is not possible and targets have bigger team mates and are willing and able to assault you because of your -15 defense handicap (not to mention thirst for revenge); I find Mr. Meldrew’s trouble as a trifle thing.

Some of you readers might agree or disagree with me on this. But quite frankly, I don’t give a care. Put in the same situation, I’ll do it again. But if there is any consolation Mr. Meldrew, I don’t bash active provinces that come out of newbie in a normal round, even if they were late in signing up. So if next round will be a NORMAL round, then you can expect me to play in a way you are USE to. But if it is another SPECIAL round like this one, then toot~toot. I suggest you adapt to the way the game is played Mr. Meldrew, just like I did, because the game won’t adapt to you. Otherwise you will need a large pile of tissue paper Mr. Meldrew. Spank! Spank! :P

Public Forum

I prefer visiting the RI forum then the Public forum in Galaxies Ablaze. It is much more clean and more for general patronage. Galaxies Ablaze forum are filled, not only with useless and dirty advertisement, but also with some of the rudest remark.

I have learned to recognize this advertisement by looking at the number of replies and authors. If I do not recognize the creator of the thread and there are no replies from other people, I do not bother opening up and reading the thread. Unfortunately, there are times you do not have to open the thread to see dirty messages, as the title of the thread itself is offending.

Until this kind of things stop, I will be visiting the RI forum more then the GA Forum. RI player base might not be as big as GA, but they are more urbane and their post more decent and funny then the latter. This is one reason I change my avatar in the Onlineworld forum and not the RI forum.

Sorry Ms. Chick. But it’s the truth. Hope you don’t get mad.

Out of Newbie

It has been days since my last post, and there are so many things to say, so let us not fidget around and get on with the story. :D

As I have predicted, coming out of newbie mode is no fun round for some. The land hungry mob went out with devastating violence that shook the entire world of Fantasia. The scar it has created can still be seen, days after the event. The rulers of the provinces, denied of land by exploring, had foams of madness on their mouth as they left their cages after the leash called newbie mode was taken off.

They roamed the world of fantasia in search of new land to satisfy their never-ending thirst for power and glory.

The weak and under-defended provinces went down with macabre of violence that left them less then haft the province they once were, some died a few days later. The strong ravages the weak, ignoring futile please for help and mercy, they tear the root of their victims with unrestrained wickedness and savagery. The cry of pain by those suffering echoed throughout the land.

Finally the weak were gone, and the supply for fresh land is gone with them. Those left behind, the strong, where now left but to satisfy themselves picking on the bones that was left behind. Some, who once left each other and prefers to feast on the weak, now watch each other with malevolent intention.

Priest of Gix, the strongest province at this time, was feeding on an active province, when a wave of missiles was launch against him by Ms. Jewly. He manages to block 3 of the four missiles, but could not block the other 3 missiles sent by Mr. Beowulf.

I spied on both of them and found out that I could not assault either one of them safely. I might have gone for them if there was anybody to back me up, but alas, everyone has their generals out. It seems that the future is war and war is the future.

I’ll come back later and add the latest development of the current situation.

Specialty Round 2 (Mar 19, 2007)

This round is a special round. Meaning this round is under some special rules to make it more exciting then the ordinary rounds and speed rounds. Here are the special rules:

- All Research instantly completed (minus the top researches).
- 10,000 Land
- Cannot explore lands.

With that rule, I feel this round will end faster then the speed round. When everyone comes out of newbie; it is going to be ugly. Hee hee!

This round is about to end, and for all the inactivity here in the last leg of the round, it has been a fun round. A lot of province bigger then me became inactive, thus elevating me up the ranks. Hee hee! Only problem is the number one spot is always within my grasp but still no cigar. Phooey!

Phyrexian Dreadnought quit this round some time ago because of family problem, thus eliminating the biggest obstacle in my rise to the top. As much as I am glad that I rose a step up on the score ladder, I was saddened with what happened to Phyrexian and I wish him well and come back strong. When you come back John, let’s compete again in the race for the top!

Another one that deleted his province was Kilrog. I was baffled why he did it. One minute he posts something in the forum about something inconsequential, and after 20 minutes assaulted a teammate twice, and after a few minutes more deleted his province without any explanation. That is weird. Anyway, I hope his fine too and will comeback again to play.

Both province were bigger then me and with both of them gone, I got to go up twice. Yay!

I wondered before and I’m wondering now, when will the rest of the bigger province delete their account so I could finally become the strongest and biggest province in this game. ;)

Update: I just received word from Mr. Beowulf that there was a corruption on the database for some reason and broke. He did a generic repair and I can access my account again. It seems the corruption came from Selur’s province. It was fix after Mr. Selur’s province was deleted.

Tough Wuv

Tough Wuv are made up of active players and this is great! Just like what I have always said, the key to success is to have a group filled with active members, and Tough Wuv is just that. I could already see everyone in my nation growing big! Yay!

There were others who wish to join our nation, unfortunately for them; our nation is already filled up. Sorry, tough luck. Maybe you can join later.

I made some mistake in building my province, which I hope won’t cost me later, but it does not seem to be too big a mistake because I’m doing fine on the scores. My mistake was a result of guessing and floundering since I’m playing a terrain type I have never played before. It is really tough.

I’ll also be trying this new unit type called alpha units. I hope to have them research before I come out of newbie.

Fantasian Kingdoms: Speed Round 4

Fantasian Kingdoms speed round is currently in signup mode. That means the round has not yet started and if you have not yet signed-up then go and create a province now.

This round, I created a nation called Tough Wuv. Why? It is because it’s a tough world out there. Fantasian Kingdoms is not a passive game and with the coming speed round; it not going to be pretty.

In times like this, I need a nation with a tough foundation, formed by a group of tough and active provinces. Provinces who will form an umbrella to protect it’s member from the harshness of the coming perfect storm. A nation that will share its tough wuv to it’s members, because it’s a tough world out there. >(

End of Fantasian Kingdom Round 7

“The Round will be ending on February 28th, 2007 at 2:00 PM” This message was posted prominently on the upper center of the monitor.

Another round had come and gone (Whew! How time flies when you’re the one doing the bashing. Hee hee!); and what a round! It’s one of my best rounds in Fantasian kingdom. Right now I rank 3rd in both strength and size and our nation first on both categories.

The best part of this round was taking down phantom. I’d like to thank him for that. If not for him it wouldn’t have been as fun (which proves true once phantom was down). The only weakness phantom had was an inactive nation. He was the only one fighting us. Even after he had a mutual defense pack with Mr. Beowulf’s nation, he was the only active nation to ever retaliate our attacks. In the end he was brought down.

Bringing down Lil brother or Mr. Beowulf was a little disappointing. I expected him to last much longer then he did. But his planet was too fat, and three wild cats bringing down a fat domesticated pig is not as fun as bringing down a wild boar or a big brown bear (like phantom).

Anyway, this round has more players then any previous round before and I’m glad this game is finally getting the attention it deserved. Hopefully there would be more players that would play this game. So if you are not a member yet, register now!

I’d like to make this post longer but my monitor screen is making me dizzy. I wanted it repaired last Saturday but everybody in our house were too lazy to bring it to the repair shop and I’m not strong enough to carry it there (I can’t even lift it off the computer desk). So this is it, my last post for round 7 of Fantasian Kingdoms. Can’t wait for the next round! ^_^

Phantom 2

The once fearsome and dangerous kingdom of Phantom, one I once though has become too strong to be killed, has finally been reduce to a small kingdom thanks to Selur and Kilrog’s suicide attacks.

Selur really knows how to bring down a large planet. After several miserable raids and after the debacle attempt to rain nuclear missiles on phantom, Mr. Selur found the right path for three rabid dogs to bring down one big brown bear.

Mr. Selur built a huge amount of spy facility to be able to spy on Phantom’s kingdom (One of the main problem we have encountered when taking down Phantom is the intelligence. We had to completely rely on the sneak attack capabilities because we can’t break on his intelligence barrier to spy on his military status.). With Poonage, claiming to have built 1000 spy facility (I had only slightly over 150 spy facility at that time), he manage to know Phantom’s military status and decided to suicide. The first peal of doom has been sounded.

Kilrog did the same and suicides on Phantom, of course Phantom would retaliate by assaulting Kilrog, unfortunately for Phantom I was there to take advantage of his assault with a sneak attack same as Poonage. Mr. Beowulf was kind enough to take me off the banned list again. Fortunately, I found my planet safe and sound even after my long absence. Really, this multiple account is really annoying.

I have ask Mr. Beowulf for advice and I’m still waiting for reply but right now, all I can do is hope that I will not be banned again. :(

I’m puzzled with these new accounts. I did not create them. Nobody in our household would do such a thing, so where did they all come from? Is somebody framing me up? Is there a virus? Am I being paranoid? Erk! Better leave all this questions to Mr. Beowulf.

Anyway, I’m glad I was not assaulted, sneak attack, or rob during my over 12 hours of absence. :)

One time, I tried to login to my account but was denied. The message posted on the screen was that I was banned because of multiple accounts.

What? I don’t cheat. I do not understand how this could have happened. When I check my profile, I found out that I have four same account created by my computer. But this is so not true since there should have been only two and my brother is not playing this round.

Later, I was able to access my account again and Mr. Beowulf said that somebody created multiple account with the same number something as my computer. I could not think of anyone at home who would use my computer and create multiple accounts in Fantasian Kingdom.

Phantom

Phantom. That small planet we have been assaulting has finally changed its military unit’s value and has become a monster! Since then his planet’s networth and land size has grown twice my size!

Phantom has successfully assaulted my planet and all I can do was retaliate with a sneak attack. He has also successfully assaulted Kilrog and Mr. Selur multiple of times.

He is like some Godzilla or King Kong.

At first we tried to continue our sneak attacks but what resulted was we found out it’s not worth losing as many units as we lost then the land we gained and damage Phantom has received.

This led to a mass launching of nuclear missiles. Here is our nations news about those launch:

Phooey! All those missiles lost for nothing. Ouch! Guess back to the drawing board.

Flash UPDATE: Selur suicides and took a large piece of land out of Phantom. Then he was attack by Phantom and Mr. Beowulf together, in which both failed. Awesome! ^_^

So, when I read that news message of him attacking Selur, I immediately took his military status and calculated how much military I needed to successfully assault him. When the numbers I calculated gave a satisfying result, I grab the opportunity. Cool huh? ^_^ Good work for me!

Round 7: The Beginning

This round, I was randomly place in the same group as Selur and Meldrew of GA. I was glad to be with them because I know this two are both active players and it is always good to be in a active team.

With some advice from Selur, I manage to have a good start even thought there are some unfamiliar features added to it. I came out of newbie in the top ten and just a few days later entered the top three rank.

I was so happy. Even after my mistake in building strategy, even after I trained too early, I still came out fine.

Then the honeymoon came to an end. After meldrew found out we were team mates, he immedietly deleted his account (why? Am I not a good enough team mate for him?). Then Sarge assaulted my province. This confuses me a bit. Why attack someone that can easily assault you back? He even sneak attack his best friend Selur. On a strategical point of view, that is an illogical attack.

Fantasian Kingdom: Round 7

A new round, a new beginning, and phooey, I have been gone long enough that I need to learn about Fantasian Kingdom all over again!

I don’t mind relearning Fantasian Kingdom, the new FK look’s so cool, that it feels like I would be playing it for the first time. I really must play it again! If anybody else is interested then I suggest you sign-up and get the feel and how to play it before the game starts.

Speed Round 3

Fantasian Kindom: Speed Round 3 has just started this Oct 31. I wanted to sign up and play this round, but I miss the first day and since it is a fast round, I would be pretty far behind and would find it hard to catch up. Phooey! My competitive nature won’t let me accept anything but the best so I have decided to play next round instead.

For those who intend to play this great online game for the first time, I suggest you play now; to learn the ropes and not flounder on the next round.

Speed Round Got Delayed.

The last round was the bestest round of all. Everyone who played that round really enjoyed it and unlike on previous rounds, the top nation did not dominate the top scores.

It was so fun that Marc, who stop playing text base game long ago, have signed up again without me bullying him. ~~ That is why when I read the invitation to play Fantasian Kingdoms speed round 3, I immedietly signed up for the game.

Unfortunately the round was delayed due to some problem. It seems that some people in Fenris has been sending insulting message to the admin, Mr. Beowulf. So he decided to cancel the start of the game. He’s been contemplating it even before registration, the bad messages just push him to delay the start of the game.

Too bad. :( Well, whenever Mr. Beowulf is ready to start the game, I’ll be there ready to sign-up and play. Hee hee!

Round 6

Fantasian Kingdoms Round 6 has finally begun. I am bit off at Mr. Beowulf. I still can’t believe he started the round without me. :P . Anyway, even though I was a bit late signing up this round, I seem to be doing fairly well. I’m currently ranked 3rd as the strongest province and 1st in the largest province. Wowwow wowwie!

It is true that it’s too early in the game to celebrate (were still in newbie mode) but there is nothing wrong in feeling good about it either (pat myself ^_^). Besides, I might be busy weeping later on because they have started to target my province and is on the process of obliterating it. Hee hee! ~~

So if you have not signed up, then go there and join the fun. Even if you don’t get a good score this round, the things you learn will help you for the next, and there is no better teacher then experience.

Trick

One of the tricks I learned this round is how to launch more nuclear missile then what was originally available. This involves the use of the market.

First, have your countrymen research and build all 3 (4 if your premium) nuclear missiles. Then have them sell it to the market for the minimum price available. Wait for you target to log-out then launch your missiles (Best done before the next tick). Buy the nuclear missiles for sale to refill your silos. Launch them again.

If there are 5 active and cooperative members in a nation then that would be a minimum of 15 nuclear missiles, and the defender can only block a maximum of 4 missiles. Wow! That would be 11 nuclear missiles doing damage!

Just make sure that you are able to launch those missiles all in one swoop and before the defender could buy defensive missiles from her nation's market. Otherwise, you missiles will just get block and almost a million gold of money goes down the drain.

Much Needed Update

School has been more then a little demanding lately. I could not even update my BLOGs properly. :(

Anyway, here is the latest update in my playing Fantasian Kingdom. Earlier in the game I became the strongest and biggest province in the game. Again!? Yay!

As before, I fell down the score again. Again!? BOOO!

Hee hee! I really need to figure out how to stay on top of the scores. I keep stumbling and falling down the scores after I research the military and building upgrades. For some reason, everyone seems to be able to catch up to me and stay ahead of me. There were also those several sneak attack againt me. Argh! Got to figure this one out or it will happen again next round :(.

Currently, I’m rank 4th in the strongest province and 5th on the largest province.

Fantasian Kingdoms: Round 5

What round 5? What happened to that speed round 2? How did it end!? Hee hee! Well, it is rather another tragedy for my province. It died because inactivity. :(

Being allied to selur and friends had a great affect on my province. For the first time, I became the strongest province in FK! Yay!

Unfortunately, I became a kill target by them again (thanks to my brother) when I was accidentally thrown out of the nation and was forced to join another. Although I was losing my fight with them at the time, I learned a thing or two on how to fight better. Hint: It has something to do with buildings!

Before I could fully apply and enjoy my wars with them (selur and friends); I had to go inactive because I have to study for my first periodical exam.

Now round 5 had just started and this time I plan to see it the whole way through. ~~

Speed Round 2

Fantasian Kingdoms is now in “speed mode”. This means that every haft an hour is a tick instead of the usual full hour. Speed Round 2 is fast and furious. I guess it can be said to be like the lightning rounds in galaxies ablaze.

Early this round, I posted in the alliance forum that I would try and emulate the last round top planets strategy. Why? In order to win this game, I must first need to learn how the big boys do it. How can I grow big if I limit myself to certain strategies? How can I implement my will if I’m not big? Besides, in the jackal national forum, I posted that the top three should be taken down immediately. When I saw that the three of them left their nations and banded together, I knew this would be like round 2. I also knew that if nobody takes action against them now, they would be unstoppable later. When the reaction I got was not to take action for now as there is a plan to take them down later; I gave up the idea of taking down the top three. The opposition against Selur and friends was complacent. They think it’s too early and since they have the biggest and strongest province, Civilizations In Space [7:5], and several of their province is in the top ten, they thought they have more time. I knew they were wrong. I told the jackal president to just give up and even suggested that “If you can’t beat them. Join them.”

When I posted my sentiments, about growing big and doing what Selur and his posse was doing to grow big in the public forum, Selur ask if I mean about growing big like them, I said yes and later I got an invitation from Selur to join them. I did not think long about it and accepted the invitation. I must admit, I was very curious on how their nation operates. What I saw was a cohesive group of provinces working together. That nation is filled with active planets. Unlike the other nations I’ve been to. They have identified their biggest threats and had systematically taken them all down.

The nation of TARGET (the nation I’m in with Selur) brought down our biggest threats including the biggest province (bigger then selur and sarge) Civilizations In Space [7:5]. The attack against the targets was systematic. Civilizations In Space [7:5] was first bombarded with aggressive spy operation. Destroying his farms to make his military units to disband was a great idea (even the smaller provinces participated in this operation). Later, when enough of Civilizations In Space [7:5] troops has desserted, the top guns of TARGET started sneak attacking and assaulted him. When he was down, the other top provinces were targeted until there is no more opposition worth talking about.

Congratulation again to Selur, Sarge, and Screw. It seems they will win this round again. They all did a great job along with the other provinces of Target. I only ask is that, now that there is no major opposition, they should be more careful with their attacks (especially repeat attacks), so as not to ruin other players from enjoying this game and drive them away.

Funny thing is, Mr. Beowulf commented in the public forum that if he was playing in round 3 at that time, Mr. Selur and group would not have been able to dominate that round. He also blamed the lack of organize opposition to stop Mr. Selur’s group. I told him why they can’t be stop that time but I don’t know if he believe.

This fast round, Mr. Beowulf is playing as The Cheat [3:0], and there is a plan to oppose Mr. Selur’s group. But nobody took my advice so this round is a repeat of round 2. Hate to say it Mr. Beowulf but “I told you so”. Hee hee! ~~

The site of Fantasy Kingdoms is down right now. Maybe fixing a bug or something. But the last time I look, I was 4th place in the largest and strongest province, right next to the top three Selur, Sarge, and Screw.

End of the Round for Me

It seems this is the end of the round for me. The last time I look, my province was less then 400 land. Even thought it’s that small, some province like bowwow still continue to attack me, either by assault or aggressive spying. It was a fun round, especially when I felt the thrill of one woman against a nation, albeit a short round. Hee hee!

There is one last thing I needed to clear up. It came up after I posted in the nation’s forum that I wanted to say goodbye early because my province could be dead the next time I login (Fisticuff step up their effort to kill my province after I refused to be bullied. Every time their big guys attack me, I retaliated by sneak attacking them, and since they have little defense with a huge land, I get a lot of land back as if I assaulted a province as big as me! The rest of the land I lost, I gain through exploration. In short I really made them mad at me BIG TIME. Yay! ). I mentioned in that post that I enjoyed playing with them and hope they would have a good time.

All my post bore good things and happy wishes, so I’m bit surprise that Ovaria swear at me and accuse me of bringing that nation and the all its members in a mire of problems (war with fisticuff) and leave them at their greatest need. My eyebrows lifted to my hairline at the anger and hate of Ovaria’s post.

I calmly replied and ask Ovaria to please do not be angry at me. First, I never started the war or did anything to start it. Second, the second war started because I retaliate to an attack against me when it became obvious that the top two wanted to reduce my province to a size smaller then their smallest member. But I refused to be bullied and made a pest of myself. This refusal to be bullied always upset bullies and since the top two can’t kill me in peace mode, they declared war on my nation, Sanctuary.

As for leaving, my province will soon be killed, what can I do? Restart? They’ll just kill it again. I just wanted a clear slate next round. Nothing to be angry about is there? I hope Ovaria will change his/her opinion about me and what I have done and will be friends again.

This round I have met good players (ethically speaking and game wise) like JTown, Ravenswood, Alchemist, Zeal, and cheeseman. I also met some bullies like Screw and Fear. Overall it’s a good game with some good people but currently dominated by bullies. This problem needs to be address to make the game better for future rounds and it can only be solved by good players banding together and policing the game themselves.

With that final note; ends my experience for round 4 of Fantasian kingdoms.

War again? Could not get enough of a good thing huh? The nation of fisticuff declared war on us again. Whatever, it does not change a thing for me (except for a few war bonus my status with fisticuff still remains the same). But I am a bit concerned for my friends. Since the war resumed, some fisticuff members have already started attacking my friends with gusto, as if they have something to prove (I wonder what?). Bow-wow-something seems to be the most desperate of the lot. Hee hee!

I have calculated all attacks on me and by me and here it is:

Fear took a total of 449 lands during the first war in three consecutive attacks.
Screw took 158 lands in one attack and a failed attack.

*Notice that I never attack them? I was hoping it would be enough to satisfy them. How foolish of me.

Screw took 192 lands from me after the war.
Fear took 473 lands. It would have been more if he had not failed an attack on me.
I took 207 lands from Screw and 187 lands from fear.

So far, 135 lands were lost to Screw and 122 lands to fear in this second war. Phooey!

Well enough of that. It just occurred to me that I might have the best generals in the world. That is why I posted this in the public forum.

Do we have an archive for the most military experience in offense and defense? I think my generals would win, especially in so short a time. ~~

Never Surrender

My province has been the central field in the battle against fisticuff. I and my people bunkered down along the shelters that litters the city. The nation of Sanctuary has already surrendered to the invaders and yet the attack on our fair province continues. We know what will happen if we continue to oppose those bullies; the catastrophic outcome that will inevitably happen. But our defenders are not huddling in the shadows, but instead there eyes sharply watch for any sign of the invaders. They have pride of knowing that after 14 hundreds of acres of lands was lost, after over a dozen attacks against us we as a province have never surrendered. On the first day of the war, the people have hope that the invaders will be satisfied with the last land grab that they took, but the greedy ones have not stop. Again and again, day by day, the invaders come and ravish our province, and day by the people hope it was the last, but the invaders continue to come and the war goes on.

Peace has finally arrived. The nation of Sanctuary has finally surrendered after the minimum time, where a nation at war is allowed to surrender. But the invaders still continue to come leaving a path of destruction in their wake.

Then slowly, as if touch by fate. The people, first a trickle then a flood, left the safety of the woods on the border and return to the province. Young men, old men too old to bear arms, and even women went to the ranks of defenders willing to die along with their fathers, son, and heart. Together they took strength at their fellowmen, vowing never to surrender while breath still leaves their mouth and a beat still vibrates in their heart.

Hear ye people of the world! Hear the tale of bravery and romance. Cry for thee a flood of tears, for the spirit that gives honor to the human spirit. Fall on thy knees and be awe at the bravery and weep at the tragedy. Do not forget our story, when tragedy finally has come to pass, the story of the people of the Crystal Palace.

The two of them screw and claw must have already attack my province over a dozen times, maybe even two dozen, with no end in sight. So I find this message very hilarious because I can’t see any difference from killing my province after my attack on him, to what they are doing before my attack. o.O

The nation of Fisticuff declared war on my nation yesterday. I felt that this is an unfair move as they are over twice our size and with the top10 mostly dominated by them, but unfortunately, I have no choice in this matter. When I saw the news, I already know bad things will happen.

I was right. Later after I created this BLOG, my province was attack 3x by the top 1 and 2 province. My fellow province was not spared also as the fisticuff provinces uses the war bonus to attack my friends and get maximum gain instead of the usual bash gain. Their nation also uses the Offense Initiative (This gives all provinces in the fisticuff nation a 10% offense bonus).

I tried to counter some of their advantage by changing our nation’s initiative from Economic Initiative (gives mineral bonus) into Defense Initiative (gives a 10% defense bonus). I do not know how much it help it would do since I still got land grab by the top players but hopefully the smaller province have better chances of protection from attackers.

With my province weakened and probably impossible to catch up with the top provinces and getting a nuclear missile is still far in the future; there is no one that can threaten fisticuff. I think they plan to fill the top ranks with fisticuff members, hence all the bashing of smaller planets to push them down and lift their members up.

I have a plan to at least give my province some protection (although I’m not sure if it will work at all. those top province are so much bigger then me now.) but it will be sometime before I will feel safe again. It is so depressing. Phooey!

On the positive side, I finally finish researching the building upgrade 1. This means more defense and offense per acre of land because of better military housing. It also means better resources as the old building are upgraded to better and more efficient buildings. Small good luck after the catastrophe. :p

Still, I have a good outlook in life and hopefully fate will smile at me and my situation will improve in the future. Yay! ~~

The reason a province should join a nation is because a province will never grow strong and move to the top without being a member of a good nation. Here are the benefits of joining a nation:

1. The province gains the nation’s Initiative bonus (This could be extra minerals, offense, defense, etc). (Independent provinces do not have this kind of bonus).

2. The province gains information shared by the other members of that nation. (Independent province do not have any forum were they can get important information they might need).

3. More powerful units. The president of a nation can customize the nation military units to make it more powerful. (Independent provinces are left with pewee standard units).

4. Protection and guidance by that nation.

Province must be wary on what nation they should join. If a province joined a unstable nation, this nation might disband causing the customize units reverting back to the standard units. So you build defense type units with customize 5 defense points but since the nation disbanded, these defense units will return to their ordinary value of 3 points. Ouch!

In round 3, I did not have a nation to join in, which led to my province being assaulted almost everyday. The attack only stop when I joined the nation of rampage and I start profiting from those bonuses mentioned above.

Now in round 4, I created Sanctuary to help those new players a sanctuary where they can be protected while they learn the game. It seems to be working as each member has started to grow and be more active. Sanctuary currently has 9 member province.

Of the two, only Flaming Priest tried to blow up my buildings. Good thing I have good counter intelligence and most of its attempts were block and the once that succeeded means absolutely nothing to me.

My province Crystal Province is currently the 4th strongest province and the 4th largest province. Hope I would continue to rise up the ranks! Cheer for me okay? Hee hee!
